Sri Lanka
Sri Lanka is one of the cheapest countries for a holiday. The costs for daily maintenance are quite low here and the overnight stays in a hotel do not have to be high either. For an overnight stay in a luxury hotel, a price of 10,000 rupee is a good average. This amounts to approximately € 60 per night. If you book a mid-range hotel, the costs will be much lower. Food in a hotel costs as little as about €3. Admission to an attraction, less than € 2.00.
Maleisië
The biggest costs for a trip to Malaysia are the flight ticket and the overnight stays. These differ between the seasons. Staying in Malaysia itself is not expensive. You can stay in a mid-range hotel for a price of €35 to €65 per night. € 10 per day or 50 Malaysian Ringit will get you a long way. If you fly in the low season, a holiday to Malaysia is a very economical trip.
